วัดศรีเวียง (ห้วยป่าซาง) ตั้งอยู่ที่บ้านศรีเวียง หมู่ที่ 16 ตำบลแม่สาว อำเภอแม่อาย จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ เป็นวัดราษฎร์ในสังกัดคณะสงฆ์มหานิกาย ที่ดินตั้งวัดมีเนื้อที่ประมาณ 4 ไร่ 2 งาน 10 ตารางวา
ประวัติความเป็นมา
วัดศรีเวียงเป็นศูนย์กลางทางศาสนาและวัฒนธรรมของชุมชนบ้านศรีเวียง โดยมีการจัดกิจกรรมทางพระพุทธศาสนาและประเพณีต่าง ๆ อย่างต่อเนื่อง หนึ่งในกิจกรรมสำคัญคือการก่อสร้างพระมหาธาตุรัตนมุณี ซึ่งได้รับแรงศรัทธาจากชาวบ้านห้วยป่าซางและผู้มีจิตศรัทธาทั่วไป ในพิธียกยอดฉัตรและบรรจุพระธาตุเมื่อวันที่ 26 มกราคม พ.ศ. 2551 มีเหตุการณ์ที่ชาวบ้านถือว่าเป็นสิ่งมหัศจรรย์ เช่น ฝูงผึ้งป่าบินมาเกาะใกล้พระมหาธาตุโดยไม่ทำร้ายผู้คน และการพบไข่นกสามฟองภายในพระมหาธาตุ ซึ่งชาวบ้านเชื่อว่าเป็นสัญญาณแห่งความเป็นสิริมงคล

ภายในวัดประกอบด้วยอุโบสถ ศาลาการเปรียญ และพระมหาธาตุรัตนมุณี ซึ่งเป็นเจดีย์สีทองที่สร้างขึ้นด้วยแรงศรัทธาของชาวบ้าน พื้นที่โดยรอบวัดมีความร่มรื่นและเงียบสงบ เหมาะสำหรับการปฏิบัติธรรมและการทำบุญ

Wat Sri Wiang (Huai Pa Sang)
Wat Sri Wiang is located in Ban Sri Wiang, Village No. 16, Mae Sao Subdistrict, Mae Ai District, Chiang Mai Province. It is a private Buddhist temple under the Maha Nikaya sect. The temple grounds cover approximately 4 rai, 2 ngan, and 10 square wah (roughly 7,240 square meters).
History
Wat Sri Wiang serves as a religious and cultural center for the Sri Wiang community. The temple regularly hosts Buddhist and traditional cultural events. One of the significant milestones is the construction of the Phra Maha That Rattanamunee, a golden pagoda built with strong community faith and support from nearby villagers, particularly Ban Huai Pa Sang.
During the ceremony to place the top spire and enshrine the relics on January 26, 2008, several events were considered miraculous by local people—such as a swarm of wild bees peacefully landing near the pagoda without harming anyone and the discovery of three bird eggs inside the structure, which locals interpreted as auspicious omens.
